ASAP at Alphonsa College Initiates Cycle Training Programme

The ASAP family in Alphonsa College, Pala, has started a new venture ever in the history of the institution. The girls are getting trained in cycling. The training programme was officially inaugurated on the 12th of August, 2016 by the college Principal, Dr. Alice Jose. It was followed by a cycle rally. College Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Therese, ASAP coordination Dr. Sr. Ria, ASAP PM Mr. Joby Cyriac and the SDE, Ms. Maria George were present. The training is initially provided to all the ASAP students in the college. The trainers are specially selected students from the college who are given trainer badges. The programme is organised with a threefold intention behind. First, to grab the skill of cycling forms the base of driving which is quite necessary in the present era. Second, there is a green message. Third, it calls attention to the need of keeping oneself healthy and fit. The whole college has whole heartedly welcomed the ASAPian idea and the ASAP team is moving forward proudly in Alphonsa College.
